秘書省
(秘书省, 秘書省) 官署名。 南朝梁始定此名。 置监、 丞, 掌国之典籍图书。 秘书监之官则由来已久, 自东汉桓帝始置, 先属太常寺, 魏时曾属少府, 晋初裁并, 西晋末复置。 梁乃定官署之名。 北魏亦置。 隋秘书省领著作、 太史两局。 唐改所属太史局为司天台武则天曾改为麟台。 旋均复旧, 北宋前期, 经籍图书归秘阁, 秘书仅掌祭祀祝版。 神宗元丰改官制, 秘书省职事恢复。 宋之日历所、 会要所、 国史实录院等均归秘书省管辖, 规模较唐时较大。 元朝将职事划归翰林国史院。 明因之设翰林院, 遂无秘书省之名。
